Miva Merchant is the shopping cart that gives you all the tools to easily process online orders through a number of third party vendors. If you plan to accept credit cards on your website you will need to establish a Merchant Account with a financial institution. We offer merchant accounts through CardService International (LinkPoint payment gateway) that integrates with Miva Merchant shopping cart very easily. If you want to accept payments through check, money order or Paypal, then you do not need to sign up for a Merchant Account.
