Can I add a backup drive to my server?Solution:
You can add a backup drive to your dedicated server at any time. As a courtesy, OLM will install a standard backup script on the drive at the time of installation. This script will run full backups twice a month and then daily incrementals. Of course, you are free to write your own backup script if you wish. All backup drives, including the backup scripts are complete managed by the customer. It is also suggested that you periodically run a backup of important sites or files to your local computer as a safeguard.You can find pricing for the backup drives at http://www.olm.net/dedicated-servers/dedicated_addons.html.
If you would like to submit a request for a backup drive please go to http://support.olm.net and complete the "Dedicated Server Addons & Changes" form. An Administrator will contact you to schedule the installation, as it does require the server to be taken offline briefly (approximately 15-30 minutes).
