Can I upgrade/downgrade between shared hosting plans?
Problem:
Can I upgrade/downgrade between shared hosting plans?Solution:
You can upgrade/downgrade your hosting plan in the same series of shared hosting plans seamlessly. If you have a name-based plan and want to upgrade to an IP based plan, an IP will be added to your account and DNS will update to reflect the new IP. If you are downgrading from an IP based account to a name-based account, we will setup the name-based account for you and you will need to reupload the files and re-add the email users to the new account through your control panel. Upgrades/downgrades from one IP-based account to another is seamless. If you want to upgrade your hosting plan to another plan on a different series of plans (different server/control panel interface) then we will setup the new account and you will have 7 days to reupload files to the new account. You will also need to re-add the email users and modify Name Servers to point to the new hosting account. After 7 days we will disable the older hosting account. We do not move files for you if you are changing to a different series of plan that what you currently have.
No setup fees are charged when you are changing between two shared hosting plans if the setup fee is equal for both plans. You are charged the difference in the setup fee in you are upgrading to a shared hosting plan with a higher setup fee that your existing plan.
