What is parked domain/ sub-domain and how do I add them?

Problem:

What is parked domain/ sub-domain and how do I add them?

Solution:

A parked domain is a top-level domain that points to your main domain and masks the main domain name. A sub-domain is a component of your main domain (like sales.yourdomain.com or shop.yourdomain.com) that points to your main domain or to a subdirectory under it.

To request a parked domain for HostSE and E-Plans (Ensim based plans), you will need to fill out the online request form at your Members Area/Section or send an email to the Sales Department. A one time processing fee is applied per parked domain request. HostVDS and S-Plans allow you to park domains through the web-based control panel if your plan type comes with parked domains included.

To request a sub-domain for Host SE plans, you will need to make a request to park the sub-domain. For Host VDS, E-Plans and S-Plans you can add sub-domains through the web-based control panel if your plan type comes with sub-domains included.

Please note that if you are parking domains, make sure the parked domains are registered and its DNS is pointing to the same Nameservers as your main domain.
